I’m Demi Varner, and I started Seedling out of a passion for helping small businesses thrive. Years ago, I worked with a nonprofit focused on revitalizing a small-town downtown, where I partnered with local business owners to design branding, create promotional materials, connect them with grant opportunities, and organize community events that increased visibility. Those efforts made a tangible difference by helping them engage with more people, grow awareness, and strengthen their connection to the community.

What stayed with me most was the weight those owners were carrying. Many weren’t sure where to begin or how to prioritize. They were trying to do everything at once, often without the time, bandwidth, or support to make real progress. Some didn’t even know what resources were available to them. What they truly needed was someone they could trust to help them take the next right step.

That experience sparked my passion for guiding small businesses, not just through branding or marketing, but through thoughtful support that makes the journey feel less overwhelming. Since then, I have built expertise in branding, strategy, events, and communication across a variety of industries. Today, I lead corporate visibility, events, public relations, internal messaging, and culture campaigns for a global company, while bringing that same experience back to the kind of work that first inspired me.
